Important Before & After Care Information Following Your Permanent Makeup Service

Every NEW CLIENT will receive a FREE maintenance aftercare bag to guide you through your healing stages! Aftercare is just as important as that initial appointment! Follow my after care instruction to a T for perfect results!

Lip Blush After Care Instructions:

Change your pillowcase when you get home. Please be advised that any pigment residue could stain your pillowcase for at least 1 week after your appointment.

  • Day of the procedure: Lips will feel swollen, dark and very dry after your treatment. Pat lips gently with a wipe or tissue to remove excess lymph every hour or so on the first day. You may also apply ice packs to help if they are very swollen.
  • Day 2-3: Apply a moisturizing lip ointment twice a day to moisten and prevent them from forming a crust. Allow lips to dry for 5 minutes prior to applying your aftercare lip balm. This should be done for at least 5-6 days post treatment.
  • Day 4: Apply a moisturizing lip ointment at night to prevent scabs and dryness, continue to apply it for the entire week until the area is completely healed. Always use a Q-tip to apply the ointment. Once the lips are no longer tender, they may become flaky. This is normal. Do not pick or scratch them. Doing so can significantly reduce the amount of pigment that stays in the skin.

WHAT TO AVOID DURING LIP HEALING PHASE: Avoid the sun and tanning beds pre and post procedure. Use sunscreen once lips are healed and continue the use to avoid premature fading. Avoid direct water pressure and submerged swimming until healed. Keep lips and mouth as clean as possible to avoid bacteria and infection. Try to avoid spicy or acidic foods until healed. Use a straw when drinking liquids.

Eyebrow After Care Instructions

To achieve the best results, follow the below guidelines after your eyebrow procedure. It’s normal for the area be slightly tender, itchy and appear darker for a few days as the skin develops a thin scab. Scabs will begin peeling 4-7 days after your procedure. When the scabs fall off, your permanent makeup may appear lighter than you expect. Don’t worry, it will darken to your customized color as your skin finishes healing.

  • Don’t get the procedure area wet for two days. To avoid this (and still be able to wash your face) we recommend applying Vaseline over your eyebrows. ..After washing your face, remove completely and pad dry any water left behind. Youll want them dry with a pea-size thin layer of healing ointment. DO NOT over saturate.
  • Don’t sleep with the treated area directly on a pillow for two weeks.
  • Don’t rub, pick, peel or scratch the treated area, or your pigment could be removed and healing will be uneven.
  • Don’t apply lightening products (such as retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids, hydroquinone, etc).
  • Don’t apply makeup or any other creams and lotions except your healing ointment to your eyebrows until after the area has healed. (wait at least 7 days at your own risk.)
  • Don’t expose healing skin to direct sun (or tanning beds), hot tubs, saunas, pools or direct shower spray for approximately one month after your procedure. ( wear a hat) (:
  • Don’t tweeze or wax your brow area for at least two weeks after your procedure.
  • Do apply
  • Do let your doctor or dermatologist know about your cosmetic tattoo before any chemical peels or MRI’s.
  • Do contact your doctor if you notice any signs of infection.
